I didn’t get much blogging done today. I did work on a post that I’ll finish tomorrow. The vertigo continued all day, and every 3-4 hours I was sucked back into a deep rabbit hole of sleep. By my calculations, I’m still catching up on sleep from 2008, so this process could take a while.
Here’s what I did today: watched Midnight in Paris and loved it. Knit. Tried to read but had little staying power for the task. Paid nominal attention to the outside world (was pleased that Romney won the Maine caucuses, disappointed that the 3-4 inches of snow we were promised turned out to be no more than a dusting). Caught one of my favorite episodes of M*A*S*H (“Tuttle”) on TV Land. Wistfully read over some short story drafts from back in my serious fiction-writing days. Scrubbed the shower for the first time in way too long, then was too exhausted by the effort to take a shower. Sigh. Baby steps.
